Home Office Minister Rachel Maclean yesterday suggested that people struggling with the cost of living crisis should consider working longer hours or getting a higher paid job. She says albeit there are short term pressures, there needs to be a focus on long term solutions for the economy. It comes as inflation is expected to hit double figures later this year. So should people work harder to get by?
